Manifesto:

  1. Stop taking us for fools. We want to follow leaders who believe that everyone's voice is of interest.
  2. Stop thinking that you get paid to have all the answers. We want to follow leaders who understand that they are dependent upon others to succeed.
  3. Stop looking at what we are today without seeing what we may become tomorrow. We want to follow leaders who believe in our potential and are committed to develop it.
  4. Stop taking umbrage when some team members take leadership. We want to follow leaders who are pleased to see other people than themselves guide the team.
  5. Stop constantly cover yourself with respect to your hierarchy. We want to follow leaders who show courage every day.
  6. Stop talking us only about the short-term. We want to follow leaders who anticipate and inspire by showing the way.
  7. Stop prescribing the "how" without explaining the "why". We want to follow leaders who enable meaning to emerge and who believe in the power of "why".
  8. Stop being distrustful of us, it looks like you do not trust yourself. We want to follow leaders who have confidence in themselves and, therefore, trust in others.
  9. Stop tracking errors. We want to follow leaders who encourage risk-taking, give the freedom to make mistakes because it is a source of learning.
