Vous commencez par dire "Il était une fois un sprint de X (insérez la longueur du sprint ici) semaines...". Ensuite, la personne qui est à votre gauche ajoute quelque chose à votre phrase et ainsi de suite jusqu'à ce que la dernière personne ait parlé, ou si l'histoire se développe dans une direction intéressante, jusqu'à ce que tous les points semblent avoir été abordés et qu'il n'y ait plus rien à ajouter. Vous souhaiterez peut-être imposer une durée maximale à une équipe de grande taille. Après la rétrospective, vous pourriez essayer de rejouer pour raconter l'histoire du sprint suivant, ce qui pourrait encourager à formuler des idées d'amélioration, résumer de façon élégante les leçons apprises et aider l'équipe à visualiser de quelle façon le prochain sprint pourrait mieux se dérouler.
